In 2019 these 1:31.680 scale Pacific Crest Trail maps were free to download via Half Mile and/or the PCTA website. At some point they, in cooperation with the National Geographic, changed to really good paper maps which have to be bought. We definitely recommend that you buy those since the are highly accurate and have the latest trail info. Plus you sponsor them too, which is a really good thing.

We post these pdf maps because people are asking for them so they can put them on their phones. ONLY use them for reference on your phone and be sure that you WILL HAVE the latest trail info and data before you leave.
